The journal is committed to clear and transparent editorial policies that ensure the quality of publication and reflect its adherence to internationally recognized academic and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. These policies serve as a fundamental reference for all parties involved in the publication process—authors, reviewers, and editorial board members—aiming to regulate the submission, peer review, acceptance, and publication procedures.
The editorial board is committed to applying these policies fairly and independently, enhancing the journal’s credibility and standing within the local and international academic and research communities.
General Editorial Policy:
The journal adheres to editorial policies grounded in credibility, objectivity, and transparency throughout the scientific publishing process. These policies aim to provide a structured framework for publication and ensure compliance with quality and academic integrity standards at all publication stages.
Editorial Board Roles:
The editorial board consists of a specialized team of qualified researchers and academics. Editors are responsible for managing manuscript submissions, coordinating the peer review process, overseeing publication stages, and contributing to the strategic development of the journal.
Advisory Board Roles:
The advisory board contributes to shaping the journal’s overall policies by offering scientific advice to the editorial board, proposing topics for special issues, recommending expert reviewers, and periodically evaluating the journal’s scientific performance. The board also serves as a bridge between the journal and the broader academic community, locally and internationally, thereby enhancing the journal’s reputation and reliability.
Peer Review Process:
The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system to ensure impartial evaluation. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two experts in the relevant field, who provide a detailed report with their observations and a recommendation for acceptance, rejection, or revision.
Peer-review policy:
We apply a double-blind peer-review process to committed to prompt evaluation and publication of entirely accepted papers in AJRSP. All submissions undergo a rigorous review process to maintain a high-quality publication. are as follows:
- Simultaneous submissions of the same manuscript to different journals will not be tolerated.
- Manuscripts with contents that do not meet AJRSP publication rules will not be considered for review.
- Based on the journal’s editorial policy, each manuscript is reviewed by two experts nominated by the editorial board.
- Final publication decisions are made by the journal’s Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ reports. Authors of rejected papers are notified promptly.
- All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents.
- Our editorial Board and reviewers treat manuscripts as confidential material as well.
- Editors and reviewers involved in the review process should disclose conflicts of interest resulting from direct competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors and remove themselves from cases where such conflicts preclude an objective evaluation.
- Our peer-review process is confidential, and the identities of reviewers cannot be revealed.
Acceptance & Rejection Policy:
Manuscript acceptance or rejection decisions are based solely on peer review reports, without any external influence. No mediation or pressure is accepted in publication decisions. Authors have the right to respond to reviewers’ comments and submit revisions within a specified timeframe. The final decision is made by the editorial board based on scientific recommendations.
Publication Ethics:
The journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It is committed to preventing all forms of plagiarism, fabrication, and duplicate publication. Corrections and Retractions Policy:
1. Corrections (Errata)
The journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. If minor errors are identified after publication that do not affect the main conclusions or validity of the work, a formal correction notice (erratum) will be issued.
Corrections will be clearly linked to the original article.
The corrected version will be updated in the online archive, with the date and nature of the correction stated explicitly.
2. Retractions
The journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Retraction Guidelines. Articles may be retracted if:
- There is clear evidence of unreliable findings due to misconduct (e.g., data fabrication, falsification) or honest error (e.g., miscalculation, experimental error).
- The work constitutes plagiarism or significant overlap with previously published work without proper attribution.
- Ethical issues are identified (e.g., lack of informed consent, undisclosed conflicts of interest).
Retractions will be clearly indicated in the journal, with a retraction notice stating the reason, while retaining the original article in the archive with a “Retracted” watermark, to maintain the scholarly record.
Withdrawal Policy:
- Manuscript Withdrawal (Before Publication)
Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript at any stage prior to final publication. Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing by the corresponding author, stating a valid reason for the withdrawal and confirming that all co-authors agree.
The journal does not impose any penalties for withdrawal, whether before or after peer review but prior to final publication. Any fees previously paid by the author will be refunded in full. The journal will cover all administrative and reviewer costs associated with the process.
Manuscripts withdrawn after peer review without valid justification may result in the authors being restricted from submitting to the journal for a defined period (12 months).
Editorial Independence, Transparency, and Article Update Policy:
- In addition to issuing corrections and retractions where appropriate, the journal may update previously published articles to improve metadata accuracy, formatting, or accessibility, without altering the scientific content.
- As part of our transparency commitment, all earlier publications have been updated to clearly display their publication dates within the PDF files. These updates were made by migrating content from internal peer review records to the public repository, ensuring consistent metadata, accurate citation details.
- All withdrawal and retraction decisions are made in accordance with international publishing standards and COPE guidelines.
- The editorial decision-making process is independent of any financial transactions or fee considerations.
Third-Party Submissions Policy:
The journal confirms that manuscript submissions are accepted exclusively through its official platform or designated email. The journal does not engage with intermediaries or third-party agencies, in order to preserve academic integrity and ensure the credibility of the publication process.
Copyright and Licensing:
- The journal applies the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows authors to retain ownership rights to their papers. However, this license allows any user to download, print, extract, reuse, archive, and distribute the article, as long as appropriate credit is granted to the authors and source of the work. The license ensures that the article will be available as widely as possible and can be included in any scientific archive by reference to the author and source. NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
- The Author has the right to use the research published in the journal as he sees fit after informing the journal's editorial committee if necessary. The journal assumes no responsibility.
Archiving and Indexing Policy:
1. Indexing Services
The journal actively seeks inclusion in recognized indexing databases to maximize visibility, discoverability, and academic impact. Details of current indexing services will be maintained and updated regularly on the journal’s website.
2. Long-term Archiving
By partnering with CLOCKSS, the journal ensures that all articles are preserved in a distributed network of secure archives, maintaining their integrity, accessibility, and citation record indefinitely.
Final Decision for Publication:
The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript is made by the editorial board after reviewing the peer reviewers’ reports and verifying that the necessary revisions have been completed. This decision considers scientific and ethical standards, as well as the manuscript’s alignment with the journal’s scope and objectives.
Publisher Role:
The publisher is responsible for providing technical and administrative support throughout the publication process. This includes ensuring the integrity of the technical workflow for both print and electronic publication, enhancing the journal’s digital infrastructure, expanding its reach, and supporting its indexing in global databases in close collaboration with the editorial board.
